We also stocked up on some staples, not because I think anything meaningful is going to happen but because grocery availability was already impacted by the Floyd protests this summer and I can easily see something like that happening again.

But my buddy in Vegas saw a woman buying ~25 10 gallon gas cans, so.

They have some good guides and reviews*. Not sure how their business model works other than burning through investor money.

I put together a medical kit based on one of their guides and it was $$.

Their preferred water filters are things I'd never heard of, but make way more sense for a household in a multiday disaster than say, lifestraws.

I have not heard of this before, but Berkey sells add on filters that reduces fluoride in your water.

I learned this from someone worried about kidney health for their cat. I guess it makes some sense. Fluoride = more Ca in the bloodstream?

Berkey makes counter top gravity feed water filters. Sounds like something I should have purchased a while ago.
