A lot of sites are really pushing the Crystal Skull 2 angle but that really isn't what was said he just meant it takes place after that movie. Hence its not a prequel with a young Indy. Click bait I guess. There will be another guy playing Indy one day though no matter what they say.

VOTD: Amazing “Indiana Jones” Animated Titles

Netherlands animator Patrick Schoenmaker has previously worked for Lucasfilm and spent time over the past five years lovingly crafting the opening sequence for a potential animated TV series titled “The Adventures of Indiana Jones”. Today, he’s put the efforts of his labor online, yielding one of the best ‘fan films’ you’ll ever see.

Indy never scored an animated show back in his heyday, and the result here is gorgeous. The short clip which sees cameos of familiar characters like Marion Ravenwood and Marcus Brody along with familiar archetypes and situations for the archaeologist character. The live-action “Indiana Jones” is set to return to screens on July 19th 2019.
