NEW CONCEPT - An album that follows the life story of a guy that's born into money and power, but falls a foul of the system that's supposed to coddle him, and he ends up on his own and penniless. Starting with his birth and going all the way until his death. Think: the young Hal in Henry IV Part I.

1. "Lullaby" - A Perfect Circle

In all fairness, you said early on in this thread:

So let's do an actual concept album!

I would have saved Sleight of Hand for the second third, personally.

It's song 4, the start of the downfall (second act). The realization that his life of wealth really has no meaning sends him into a spiral of drugs and self-mutilation. The third act is his redemption.

Might be cool to do one later that is open ended and the next person can continue the story however they want. Might require some explaining.

I see where you were going with it, but track four is a transition track, and to get from "Summertime" to "Sleight of Hand" requires a bit more narrative. "Once in a Lifetime" might work better in that spot? Or possibly "Is There Anybody Out There?"

True, but these have only been 10 tracks. I saw Sleight of Hand as the transition. No. 5 would seem to be a little late... that would have required all the coking and whoring up and the redemption in just 5 songs. And a possible death track.

Squeeze it in. Sounds good.
