Yeah. Misplaced Childhood by Marillion.
While Exile is my favorite record of all time, I don't think it's perfect. Pretty close, as is Blood on the Tracks.doug rr wrote:this is at 9 pages now and should have been locked after Blood on the Tracks and Exile on Main Street
nice one - i haven't listened to it for ages but i remember that Clutching At Straws was my favorite of theirs.Mojopin wrote:Yeah. Misplaced Childhood by Marillion.
i think people here are afraid to admit how great early gnr wereWatch The Flames wrote:Did I really go through 10 pages of this thread and not a single person mentioned Appetite For Destruction? For a straight up hard rock album that's about as perfect as it gets. There are better albums, but I don't believe that was the point of the thread was it?
Thing About You and Anything Goes are kinda meh.warehouse wrote:i think people here are afraid to admit how great early gnr wereWatch The Flames wrote:Did I really go through 10 pages of this thread and not a single person mentioned Appetite For Destruction? Sticky Fingers outdoes Exile for me. Pretty much near on perfect.Gods' Die wrote:While Exile is my favorite record of all time, I don't think it's perfect. Rotting Pinata is an amazing album.Peeps wrote:alice in chains - jar of flies

I listened to the 25th Anniversary edition last night and it reminded me how good the album is.matt reeder wrote:zeb wrote:Nirvana - In Utero
No bad songs, all good songs. Incredible performances and song writing rarely matched in the modern era.My top 2 albums of all time.Soma. wrote:Siamese Dream
U mad?
I was also going to suggest:
Sleater-Kinney - The Woods
Soundgarden - Superunknown
The Beatles - Revolver
Paul Simon - Graceland
Built To Spill - Perfect From Now On
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
Radiohead - OK Computer
Radiohead - Kid A
I rarely listen to Sticky Fingers without listening to Exile (and vise versa). I always feel like rolling right on through. And if I'm really in a Stones mood (which how can you not be after listening to those two records) I pop into Let it Bleed next.Sgt. Crackpot wrote:Sticky Fingers outdoes Exile for me.
