There were hundreds of people at that event. I left early, but grabbed one more on my way out in addition to the two I already had. I doubt there were any left by the end of it.wease wrote:Poor wasted donuts.

Not your traditional American donut, but Aebleskiver belongs in this thread. Once a year, the Lutheran church in my grandmother's town hosts a pancake dinner featuring all sorts of Scandanavian dough-type things. I could eat half a dozen right about now.

I grew up Catholic but have always found a kindred spirit in my Lutheran brethren, mostly because we both approach supper events with the same attention to community, organization and regional cuisine.
