Probably a good idea. I expect the Pats to cover the spread.
I hate taking that many pts, but it's opening night, chiefs have a good defense, but Brady will likely put up 30 - 35 pts.
The only things you guys have going against you are weird things. Like how for some reason, historically, The Chiefs play SUPER well on Thurs night. That's not really a stat, y'know? So.... roll with it. There's no reason why the Pats shouldn't dominate tonight. And that's coming from a massive Chiefs fan who has defended them all over this thread the last week or so.
Andy Reid coached teams are also notoriously good when giving extra time to prep. His teams are 15-2 coming out of bye weeks, and 7-3 when a visitor on opening day. Oddly enough, 3-5 at home on the opener.

Andy Reid will likely retire with the most wins of any coach to not win a title and in a couple of years could join Marty as the only coaches with 200+ wins and a losing playoff record (he's currently 11-12).

Oh totally. I can absolutely see that.

His clock-management and play-calling blunders are just inexcusable to me.
He has this uncanny ability to move too quickly when he should be milking the clock and take far too much time when he should be hurrying. He appears incapable of planning on the fly. I don't know if he doesn't talk to the OC (or someone else up in the booth) or what, but other coaches seem to have multiple plays called. "If we get a first, we'll run this. If we don't, we'll run this." He doesn't appear to do that. It's call one play. See how it goes, then call another play.
Then there's his use of TOs, which is complete madness.

I remember people saying the Eagles were like the Utah Jazz teams of the 90s... always in the playoffs but never winning it all.
Jerry Sloan regular season - 1221-803
playoffs - 98-104

Best of luck to your squad, friend. But you won't need it.

Malcolm Mitchell, WR, out on injured reserve, Brady loses another trusted weapon.

Any other QB and I'd be worried. He's got Gronk back. He's got Cooks (I know he's not "trusted" as much yet but he's one of the best WR's Brady's had in years). Amendola will contribute. Brady and the Pats are fine.

I really don't want a Super Bowl repeat. That would be so depressing. Blech.

Win the super bowl and then your team gets to decide.
