If you approach the subject with some compassion and a desire to truly understand (and perhaps even unbiasedly research) the human suffering behind a person who cannot stand being in their own skin and the elation they experience when they are released from it, and that hopefully kids who experience this suffering will have loving and understanding parents that care more about them than what the world cares about , then maybe you won't be so quick to judge is all.

Way too young to make that decision. I think that suffering may be mental illness in most cases, and also the push into pop culture which causes a warped sense of reality for very young people. Have you read about how many of these kids have autism that demand sex changes? How many fucking wacked out parents who are trans pushing it on their kids? Way too young, I have compassion for their future self regretting it, which has also been documented. I have no bias, I just feel how I feel which is how MOST PEOPLE FEEL ABOUT IT but are too afraid to speak up because of this far left bizzaro movement taking place, leave them kids alone.

There's already a thread for this.

We don't need a specific thread to discuss your dumb opinions.

If you want attention so badly go stand in traffic or something.

I think this falls in line with exactly who Pearl Jam is and has been since their birth. Eddie Vedder wrote "Pro Choice" on his arm on a major tv outlet in 1992. they participated in the "Vote for Change" tour in 2004. they consistently support progressive issues, i'm not sure why anyone would be surprised by this.

There is a perfectly sane and reasonable perspective on both sides of this argument. Let’s look for the middle ground and go from there. No reason to hate eachother.

Surely we all want what’s best for our children. If we could get inside their heads and truly know they need a sex change to be happy, great! Problem is, how do you know? And at what age? Better safe than sorry, I suppose. Why not wait til they are consenting adults?

LuNY wrote:I saw a picture of Mike standing in front of a banner for trans kids. I have been a fan since I was a boy all those years ago, I was already growing out of being a fan of any band, I love music but as we grow as adults certain things are just not of importance. I have retired from any interest in PJ, I was a massive fan since I was 13, right when they came out, I not only knew their songs by heart but also the interviews! I just cannot support or care about a band supporting something so off the rails. How many of these kids have parents who are pressuring them into this before they can rationally make such drastic decisions? Organs should never be removed from a body unless it is diseased, and a childs organs no less! Come on now. I'm sure I will get hate for this post, but is anyone else totally turned off by this? I was already kinda irked by Ed pushing big pharma on people, he means well but anyone paying attention knew that the shots have major issues and don't work well. It was like "DUDE WE KNOW ABOUT THE VAX NO NEED TO REMIND US ITS AVAILABLE"
that's a lot of words just to say "I am a transphobe"
