Yeah they sound inspired
Again, Ed’ delivery is fantastic. The last two albums from him were great ( talking about Gigaton and Earthling) so I’m really happy we are getting more stuff now.

it does seem like he has settled into how to use his more aged voice effectively. I love his vocals on both records

Yeah he needed this approach in ST and Backspacer I guess. I still like what he did in both of those but he sounds awesome in the last ones.

he could've easily excluded the artificially high-pitched "someone else's mistake!!" lines in the two places where they showed up, and stuck with old-man, snarly way he delivers that line in the other places.

Is Dark Matter the most over analyzed Pearl Jam song ever? I mean, it sounds like Pearl Jam and it fucks. What more could you ask for?

Is that what the kids are saying these days?

Do you really need me to explain “it fucks” to you? Yeah, you’re right should have left that end part off. Of course people are going to ask for more.

Watch Matt Cameron's incredible interview with Rick Beato on the Youtubes...Actually sits behind a kit and demonstrates a number of things.
All of your answers about his current mindset and drum head choices will be made clear. There will be no Helmet-esque snares here.

Until Serban Ghanea adds a herpes drum sample under each snare hit
Keep it in your pants this time, Trag.

Love his channel. One of the first I look for when something new and of note comes out.
Kinda gets grating sometimes when he stops a song every six seconds to comment, but, the way he breaks things down is great.
