Only problem with that Duck tales Remaster is that it isn't a Duck Tales 2 Remaster. That game was soooo good.

What do ya'll think of $28 for GTA5 digital? (with $1.25 million in online bucks or whatever) I've heard the digital version isn't as stable as the disc version... (PS3)

B, did your Wii U ever finish updating?

Yeah. I had considered hooking it up during the day when the kids were in school pre-Christmas, but didn't b/c I didn't have time. We paid the price on Christmas Day. Every time you put a damned disc in the thing it has to download and install and update.

But ... seems fine now.

It doesn't get delivered until tomorrow, so I'll have to get back to you.

Zelda.

I got the Skyward Sword deal with the controller 3 Christmasses ago, and I finally got around to it now.

I think I hate this game. I am not finished. The last thing I had to do was collect a shitload of musical notes under fucking water. Not hard. Just tedious. And that's the one word I'd use to describe this game. Yes, there are some nice dungeons, but the amount of busy work to get to them is ridiculous. It was several hours just to get to the first one. I will finish the game out of principle, but I am not enjoying myself.

Every time a new Zelda game comes out, it gets 10/10, and I just don't get it.
Twilight Princess - My vague memory of it is I was a dog half the time.
Wind Waker - Too much water. It felt like about two dozen people inhabited the whole world.
Majora's Mask - I cannot remember one thing about this game.

I got A Link Between Worlds for the 3ds last Christmas and have yet to play it. I hope it's great when I get to it because as far as my experience goes, there are 3 great Zelda games - the orginal, A Link to the Past, and Ocarina. All of them came out before the turn of the century.

It's true. You don't get it.

Maybe the genre. True adventure games are rare. There's this, Batman, the latest Tomb Raider and not much else. Maybe it's not your thing.
I thought Skyward Sword was a big improvement over Twilight Princess. It's still a great, but getting stale formula.

Platinumed Shadow of Mordor. Great gameplay, not so great story or characters.

Yeah i'd like to see them develop this game more in a sequel or other story from that universe. The fight mechanics and the nemesis system were great but it would be nice to have a better story and a larger world to run around in.

Agreed. I was relieved to finally go to the Sea of Nuren halfway through the game (color!), but I would like to see more diverse locales. I'm sure there will be a sequel with a much bigger world with different characters/weapons, etc.

Can you go back and forth from Sea of Buren to drab land? I'm keeping up on side quests, but don't want to get screwed.
