The Internet is REALLY hyping tonight's episode of Impact. If I watch this tonight and it's just normal TNA bullshit I'm gonna be heated.

I am interested I won't lie. TNA was good the first few years.

It was so TNA. Jeff Jarrett is coming back for one match. Oh, and Vader was there.

I love me some Vader but the dude is like 60.

They were talking like it was going to be historic. Jeff Jarrett having a match is not historic. Jarrett has never been a draw, despite what Vince Russo or TNA think.

I would like to see some of TNA's women get to mix it up with the girls in NXT though, there's a lot more talent there than WWE's main roster women have.

TNA blows. It's just a second rate WCW (which was already a second rate WWE)

i usually dont watch smackdown but got bored with the NBA draft and turned it on, when i saw the set up for the match i hoped you were gonna be watching

i had a softball game then something else came up so i didn't get settled in until about 8:45

i've only been half watching smackdown and raw lately anyway

I'm pretty pumped to see Balor get the NXT title. Balor is the opposite of Owens, in a good way. Where Owens is an old school true heel(an almost extinct art,) Balor is one of the most innovative, new age style of faces in the business.

My only problem with this whole Balor/Owens match is there is no suspense whatsoever who is going to win. Balor is obviously going to go over. All of these segments about Balor have been great but why not do these until after he wins the title? Also, lots of rumors out there it's Owens v Cena III at Summerslam. It just makes no sense to me from a booking stand point. I really like Balor and I think he is going to make an excellent NXT champion but it's just odd they are doing this the way the are doing it. Like the commercials for the show next week say something to the extent of Balor arriving. Also, they keep talking about all the success he has had in Japan. Yes, we get it. He is going to win the title.

I really hope he doesn't win clean. Ideally I'd like to see Cena or Joe distract him. No disrespect to Balor, but the way they've built up Owens it would be crazy for him to lose clean.

Agreed. I was thinking the same thing. They have actually done a great job with Owens. WAY better than I thought they would when Kevin Steen signed. When I heard this back when I cringed. Steen is one of my favorite RoH guys ever and I just didn't think the E would know what to do with him.

A clean win for Balor also kinda makes Zayn (who I think has superstar written all over him) look weak. I kinda think something crazy happens. Maybe Zayn interferes? I would love to see a Balor v Zayn feud for the title when Sami is healthy. Both as faces obviously. Ugh I think they would have a 5 star classic if given 20-30 mins.

So, I think they didnt really plan on having Owens pushed so hard on the main roster this summer when they put the NXT title on him. He's been such hit on the main roster that he cant go back now, but they never really had the chance to take the title off him. He's been built as such a monster that it's hard to have him lose to anyone at this point, especially someone in NXT. I think the Balor telgraphing was done because he is so over in Japan and they want the fans to know that ahead of time going into this match. I think it would be best to have Joe cost Owens the match, but do it in a way that turns Joe heel and he can feud with Balor for the title down on NXT. It gives Owens a clean break from NXT without him losing clean.
