I'd like to do an MOP vote. We didn't for the last one because no one really wanted to, but I'd love to start it up again. We'll do the vote whenever we get some more stats up. Those two awards are only based on the regular season though. There's a separate postseason MOP award.

I have a few sets of different ideas for the next Franchise one depending on how many teams there are.

I'm still alive guys. But today, of course, is a holiday.

I'll start finalizing the leaderboard for whatever stats we have tomorrow.

So we're looking at Gibson vs. Feller and Tiant vs. Drysdale tomorrow, I believe.

Dear phil,
https://www.dropbox.com/s/yckewjnr118fq ... s.xls?dl=0

Dear everyone else,
Mantle hits .328/.445/.590, for an OPS above 1, with 15 HRs and 41 RBIs to boot.
Duke Snider also hits well, with an OPS above .900, 11 HRs and, same as Mantle, 41 RBIs.
Elston Howard has those same 41 RBI's (gees, did I mess up my spreadsheet? jk), and an OPS over .800
No one else is really worth mentioning. Despite his no-hitter, Gary Peters ended up being my worst starter---who were a very mediocre group anyway.

Right now I think my first place MOP votes would go to Tiant for pitchers and then either Mantle or Musial for position players.

Just took a quick glance, but Musial looks hard to beat.

Don't sleep on Kiner

I think we only have four teams in, but Musial, Mantle, Kiner, Snider, Rosen, Stargell, and Hawk Harrelson look like they deserve some votes. Probably some others too, I was basically just looking at OPS and HR.
More stats please!

I think Campanella put up some absurd numbers for Big Willie Style. He might have finished with 20+ homers. Hank Aaron too possibly.

No one else is going to go through and do a seasons worth of stats. If you motherfuckers just took a few minutes each day it would be no big deal.

TBAMTS has them through like day 23. We could still get season ending stats from him. But yeah, that's probably it.

I did the first half of Ruddo's season to prove some sort of point.

Hopefully this tourney is fun. Hall monitors like chud are making this shit a chore. Take a paxil or smoke a joint. Maybe relax a little?
