I ask because my vinyl order hasn't changed at all.

Mine still says "Pending." I never got an e-mail or anything. I also ordered the LP/7" vinyl package, and haven't seen that yet.

Thanks for the info, was getting worried as mine still says Pending too and Friday's a few days out.

I've thought about it. In theory, I think it would work great on the back end. But I also think I agree that it shouldn't be on the same record as Quick Escape. And, having heard Quick Escape, it's hard to imagine a studio OTE being as good, let alone better. I think we got the right song.

Made the same comparison, had the same thought

The album would have been better with a Quick Escape style and quality song replacing Retrograde.

Cold Confession also

Quick Escape works so well because it's the one surprise like it on the album

During my first listen of Quick Escape, I actually had the thought, "I no longer need Of The Earth." Like, I'll still happily take it in the future. But that space has been filled.

OTE is screechy, the great thing about this album is that it isn't screechy

I don't know how old the Gigaton songs are, but I don't know why the band would be interested in putting 15-16 year old tunes on there. Fun to speculate though.
