I can’t imagine at what point Republicans turn to him and say “just resign” for any hope of recovering from this. The response has become threatening everyone from the Congresspeople investigating him to trying to intimidate the whistleblower to looking into long forgotten political enemies as retribution to Democrats. I am going to assume that everyone sees this all as pure desperation and an attempt at anything to cause a distraction. The walls won’t be closing in any less with Dems getting more traction in both the polls and in their reasons (obstruction) for impeachment.

Also, what happens if that claim that he told the Russians he didn’t care about their election interference because the US did it to other countries is substantiated?

There’s no one I can think of that can have all this happen in a week and would not have been told to walk away while they still could.

Which is to say that I do think there would be isolated cases of violence if he's impeached, but Frank and Charlotte who live in King of Prussia and own a hot tub dealership are not going to fucking mask up.
