Been thinking about how the Mandalorians are very similar to the Jedi in New Hope: united by a belief system rather than species or home, once a powerful presence in the galaxy, but now scattered and in hiding. Mostly (entirely?) relegated to the outer systems. Driven mostly by hope.

He wasn't a Mandalorian. He stole the armor.
But, then again, all the Mandalorians in Clone Wars and Rebels have their helmets off all the time.
Wookiepedia says that he was indeed trained by the Mandalorians
Quote from Clone Wars (by a Mandalorian with his helmet off), "Jango Fett was a common bounty hunter. How he obtained that armor is beyond me."

Because of shit that went down on Mandalore, some revisionist history happened with people who were opposed to Jango and tried to paint him as unwanted like he didn’t lead them in war

The Biker Troop scene at the top of the ep was one of the best things in entire series. I think I'd be okay with TW directing all of S2.

Iden being in this is fucking amazing. That alone will get me to watch (I was gonna watch anyway, but still... ) and get me really excited. You add in Mon Mothma and Bossk and holy shit!
