1. it's not a "decision", it's identity, and addressing it is compassionate healthcare
2. I'm sorry, I know I'm not the most patient person in the world, but I've been on here a long time surrounded by this shite: when are we going to start banning people like this?

Way too young to make that decision. I think that suffering may be mental illness in most cases, and also the push into pop culture which causes a warped sense of reality for very young people. Have you read about how many of these kids have autism that demand sex changes?
How many fucking wacked out parents who are trans pushing it on their kids?Way too young, I have compassion for their future self regretting it, which has also been documented. I have no bias, I just feel how I feel which is how MOST PEOPLE FEEL ABOUT IT but are too afraid to speak up because of this far left bizzaro movement taking place, leave them kids alone.
wait, what?!?
yeah
most of my friends are trans parents, I've been a trans parent, and all we've ever "forced" on our kids is autonomy and the right to choose

Why are you obsessing about what’s going on in some kid’s underpants?
It’s sick fucks like you have this situation the way it is.
Take your own advice.
Mind your own Fucking business.
Leave those kids alone.

So at what age should kids be allowed to make serious decisions about their lives? you know their brains aren’t fully developed until like around 24 years old right?

Im obsessed? Cool assumption bro, sick fuck? wow and the last comment. You sound like the sicko defending the mutilation of children who are far too young to make choices like changing gender. Amazing how people go along with any trend no matter how gross it is, and it is a trend. I wanted to know what everyones thoughts were but of course I get insane personal insults, not surprised. If you stand up for the abuse of children like Smiles here, its no surprise that this person would insult me like this, but its ok. Goodbye PJ world, it was a lot of fun for many years. LEAVE THEM KIDS ALONE!!! Peace Out

LuNY, there's a civil way to argue your perspective. You're making yourself out to be just as extreme as your perceived opposition. Just try to be reasonable and treat those with which you disagree with some respect and good faith.

Whatever the motive, LuNY isn't entirely wrong. Children diagnosed with Gender Dysphoria are 4-6x more likely to have been previously diagnosed with Autism than general population in a given age range:

My guess, and I believe this of most people who support the medical transition of children, is that Mike and the band genuinely care about helping kids suffering from GD but are not really educated on the ramifications of what it entails, and are instead relying on the perception of an established consensus opinion which they assume to be in the child's best interest.

We need to back up a minute here and acknowledge something very important: That is a Mike McCready tweet. An individual doesn’t necessarily speak for the group. It’s not a Pearl Jam tweet and we need to stop talking about it as if it is. Very unfair to Dave A.
