There’s a lovely interview out there with Ewan talking about studying Alec Guinness for obi wan. But he studied all his films. Not just Star Wars.
Wish I could find it. He explains it all in such a way.

I see expectations are being properly managed as usual.

Impossible with this one spike. I’ve wanted this since I was a kid. I’m well aware of the dangers of expectation and putting too much on it though.

Im just saying, its okay to get your hopes up. Life will go on if it sucks. But it wont. Ewan is fantastic. he's one of those actors that I find joy in just watching him in his craft.

Also, you have no idea who that figure was so you know just about as much as i do

Also, my comment was more directed at spike. I think its more telling of someone who warns about getting expectations up. As if they are unable to handle disappointment or being let down.

Seeing some speculation (really more hoping/wishing) online that Ahsoka will watch over Luke while Obi-Wan is away off world.

If I had to bet, I'd bet against it. But MAN! I would lose my shit if they did that.
