I think it would have worked up to a point. But there were the tapes. You wonder how many Republicans would have stood up for him in the face of those tapes.

It's worth noting that the only reason a president ever had to resign in disgrace was because of a crime committed against the other half of the establishment, not for any of the horrible shit US presidents before and after (and including) him have done.

Geezes that press conference this morning was the most insane ive ever heard trump sound. That is obviously saying quite a lot. He was like an energizer bunny hitting all of his greatest hits. The only reason i knew he stopped to even take a breath on occasion was because he breaths through his hole sucker so extravagantly.
