It's on my reading list. Is it one of those rare Players Tribune pieces that is worth checking out?

Reverse jinxed it for both of them!
I feel so bad for Derrick.
How would you have felt if he had been traded to the Lakers and he helped them win a ring?
Honestly I'd be so happy. He was around during all star weekend and spoke at a mental health conference. He's not a smart guy but at 31 he seems pretty insightful about himself and the things he's gone through. I read some of the quotes and he didn't come out and say he was suicidal at any point, but he was certainly overwhelmed by his situation and in a dark place for a few years.
All this makes me wonder if he even wants that shot at a ring though. He supposedly expressed he did not want to leave Detroit, which is a horrible basketball situation. But if you're Derrick it's safe. You get minutes, you get to close games, you're close to home and most importantly it seems for him, you're out of the spotlight.

The pilot was a complete joke. He couldn't fly with just his instruments. He was basically JFK Jr. Should have never been in the air.

I don't think I can even name 10+ college players that don't play more Mizzou this year. Sad.

Any why does Caruso not just shave his head?

Caruso kind of looks like a hospital patient with the white headband and white tights.
