Cool, cool. So as long as women aren't talked about, you can like the movie. Good to know.

Taked about?
This movie is way more progressive than any of those ¨comedies¨...and it also kicks ass. Its beautifully framed, and directed.

Watched Hotel Transylvania 3 last night and I was surprised to see that Genndy's name was attached. I mean, it was pretty bad. One of the shorts was straight out of Dexter's Laboratory though and that was great. Kind of samey as an old Looney Toons short though.

The Favourite.

Overall, the movie was fine. I laughed a lot and was always engaged but by the end it felt... unexceptional. But all three leading women were fantastic. Though, Olivia Coleman is superb. Probably the best performance I've seen this year.

Venom - this didn't deserve all the hate it got. It was fine

First Man - this was well executed

Mila Kunis is undeniably super-attractive but Kristen Bell is the real bombshell in that movie

Also while i enjoyed some light heated holiday humor, i kind of hated the ending. Why the hell did Mila need to drive all the way to the fucking Church to apologize to her cunt mother? Kill her with kindness? Fuck that.

pfft.

A walk in the woods
This is one of my favourite books so I decided to look it up given Nick Noltes casting in the Mandalorian..so far he seems to be just playing himself but it’s bang on to the book so far.

*i loved this. It had the fun and spirit of the book and Nolte is brilliant but Redford is too aloof and sneering-(that was their dynamic in the book but Bryson is likeable whereas Redfords Bryson really isn’t.)

It’s charming and easy going. Worth a watch.

I think Bad Mom's Christmas is one of the few sequels that are superior to the original. Yes, it's a Christmas movie, but it's more than that, too. I goddamn love it.
