This is in response to Scott Van Pelt talking about Zion taking the baton from LeBron. Obviously he is way off. Giannis all the way.
Freaks game improves year to year. Zion has been the same guy that played at Duke last year. That's an awesome player. But it's fair to wonder if he is already fully formed as a hulk smashing fat kid who will probably be injured and ineffective at age 30.

Who is the next Jordan - Kobe - LeBron?
Is he in the league yet?

There are a lot of good young players, but none of them jump out at me as the type of competitor to take the mantle.
Luka seems a little soft
Zion doesn't have the perimeter game
I think if the clippers win the title this year the best argument is probably Kawhi

But Kawhi’s already been in the league like 10 years?
I’m talking face of the league for a decade, best player in the world, household name.

I feel like Kawhi = Mike Trout.
Unreal skills, but no interest in being the personality that the media wants him to be. So I disqualify him from the conversation.

I think it’s Giannis.
Either Giannis or Nicola Jokivic.

It's definitely Giannis, especially once he ditches Milwaukee for a big market.
It is NOT Jokic. Nobody with tiger paw ice cream for blood gets the crown.

It's Giannis or Luka. I could see Tatum being in the next tier of super super stars, but not quite at the level of Giannis or Luka.
