Not for me. A lot of yelling mixed with monotony. I hate little "scoops" at the end of the verse lines.gardenparty wrote:yeah, it's Nothingman for meIowaska_Experience wrote:IDK, I think Nothingman and a couple others might trump from a vocal standpoint, but agree this is up there.Thejambi wrote:From a singing standpoint I'm not backing down.solace wrote:Thejambi wrote: It's the best he has ever sung a song.![]()

I dunno. I would probably enjoy Lightning Bolt live, but I'm going to avoid the videos. The Wrigley performance was... yeah.Jaeti wrote:There's not a single studio track we've gotten so far that I'm afraid to be subjected to live. For me, that hasn't been true of new albums for quite some time. That can still change, and Future Days is likely to be the one to spoil it, but still. This is good stuff.
I didn't like the Wrigley performance either, and thus I was surprised by how good the studio take is. Of course it might always be lacking when performed live, but at least now I like the song, whereas after the Wrigley video I wasn't sure I ever would.harmless wrote:I dunno. There's probably people on the Sigur Rios boards saying, "I'm seeing Sigur Rios on Monday but I just don't care after listening to Sirens!"E.H. Ruddock wrote:I'm seeing Sigur Ros in less than a week. I don't care about any of this.
Yeah. I think that people fill the gaps with the studio version in their heads anyway, when they see stuff live.Jaeti wrote:I didn't like the Wrigley performance either, and thus I was surprised by how good the studio take is.
