It galls me to no end when a reporter has the ability to ask the president of the United States anything pertinent to right now, at this moment in history, and they ask him to rate his own performance.

Well, some of us just need a good laugh.

My little sister lost her job due to this. She is in coding and the company she works for main clients include retail and grocery stores. They are all pausing their accounts and now they have to lay off workers.

Crzy

Well, at some point in history we all going to judge the media for how lousy and awful it was in these years. Really.

My wife's Ortho clinic is a mess. Each payroll is 1 million and they can't do any surgery until who knows when. She seems stressed about how people are going to get paid as they are under the 500 employee cap on whatever Congress has cooking.. I'm sure the board is going to try and find a way to be as cruel as possible given its healthcare related.

I'm in my office still but pretty restricted. How long will they pay us to do basically nothing before trying to figure out a way to send everyone home and not have to pay?

I'm now unemployed, so I'm just holed up in my house drinking Crown Royal and Great Lakes IPAs.

I've been told that I'm "essential", that I need to be at work unless I'm actually sick in which case I should absolutely not be at work.
At our briefing this morning one of the older ladies, a cancer survivor, started to cry. There's lot of work stress right now to go on with just life stress with this temporary (?) normal. Honestly I've had moments where I've barely held it together too. There's about 2000 people that work in my building; I wonder what will happen when someone inevitably test positive for it.
I had saved a few vacation days for the second half of March (our vacation year is April 1-March 31). I had planned on a quick trip to Florida or New Orleans but I'm not doing either. I'm still taking the days, just going to try to relax as much as possible.

I don’t think it will happen, but I’m definitely concerned about me or my wife getting laid off. My wife’s tuition has been and is being paid for by her company, on the condition she stays with them for two years after she graduates (which is happening in a few months). If something happens where she loses her job and we take on that debt, we’re gonna he under a mountain of shit. What a huge pain in the ass this all is.
