Talk to Jeff. He didn’t get that memo either.

In fairness to him, he is playing along without ever hearing the song before. And he picked up in the bridge downshift and adjusted nicely.

i've heard this about 3 1/2 times. i actually like the song arrangement and melody when it plays in my head. ill have to wait for a live version (if they can pull it off)

like comatose (for example), i cant stand the album version. its a distorted digital mess.

Running sounds good in my headphones (I got a few AKGs and a Bose), and alright-ish on my JBL soundbar, but it does NOT play well in my car (a mid 8 speaker setup) or on any of the Bluetooth speakers I've tried.

It's very harsh sounding on lesser devices. And Ed's voice, surprisingly, is on top of everything, making it feel almost like a demo tape.

Going to be very interesting to see how it fits on the album.

This is 100% SBWM Part Deux. As DM got more appealing after repeated listens, this one just vanishes. Album is gonna be a logical extension of Riot Act

If Running is filler material, I’m actually very happy about that.
But if it’s a highlight then we’re in trouble.

The fact that they placed SBWM so early up on the album is telling me that someone is suffering from a lack of self awareness, but the reins were taken away from that person for Dark Matter

Agreed. I'll be shocked if Running is a highlight.

This song is ok, but it’s no SBWM. Love that song.

I much prefer SBWM, but at least initially that song did nothing for me as well. I just really started loving it within the context of the entire album. Hoping that something similar will happen with Running.
