I killed Kenny. :( Why does this game force choices like that one me? Did I aks for these feelings? Well, yeah ok, maybe I did. How about a 'Let both live and we'll all live happily together for always' option? Maybe resurrect Lee, too, while we're at it?
:haha:
Spoiler: show
I had no problem killing Kenny by the end. That guy was a liability. I was so firmly on Jane's side that I was actually frustrated the game pushed me into acting upset with her.

Yeah, thinking rationally I also agreed with Jane most of the time. It's just that I really liked Kenny somehow and felt the biggest bond between him and Clem, him being the only
survivor from the first game. Wanting to kill Jane due to (what seemed to be) an accident was just over the line, though, so I don't really regret that decision.
Speaking of Risk Of Rain and roguelikes, I also rediscovered my love for Spelunky.

It's free in the original non-HD version and so so so much fun. Well, at least if you're a little bit of a masochist who likes to scream in frustration due to dying for the 10000th time. Everyone convinced to play it, yet? You can go spelunking. There are snakes and damsels in distress.

i actually let the scene play out without having clem pull the trigger on either of them (i have played both seasons with the mindset to not kill anyone who is alive. this included lee at the end of s1). this of course allowed kenny to kill jane without being killed himself. and when clem discovered the baby was still alive, i was happy i was with kenny. i knew what jane was trying to accomplish, but she gambled at a very poor point in time and lost. that was NOT the time to try and show clem what kenny could do. i (clem) already know what kenny can do, and i know what he's been through. despite how much i liked jane, it was stupid on her part and she paid for it. when we got to wellington, i stayed with kenny instead of going in. i couldn't leave him alone. kenny is no lee, but he is someone i have come to care about.

i did go back with a new save file and played the end again, this time shooting kenny and leaving jane. clem ends up alone with the baby and is rather anticlimactic. i played again, going with jane, and ended up back at the hardware store camp and took in a family. it looks like there is two more endings, too. so i am definitely curious to see how these divergent storylines are brought together.

One more level of Super Mario 3D World to go. Very difficult with just one person.

I'm really into Dragon Age: Inquisition now, but I could not, in good conscience, ever recommend it to anyone, because sweet baby Jesus is it a timesuck. I am throwing away days of my life with this game.

Yeah, way easier with two, but fun to accomplish with just one person.

Well, looks like I have something new to try out. Thanks, Mike!

I like using Peach for the floating ability, but you pretty much need the cat suit to climb during the one part.

Report back with how much fun and frustration it causes you. Tip: Don't throw rocks at the shopkeeper.

Yeah you (or at least I) can't do it without the suit.

It sucks because I want the cat suit for that one part and the raccoon suit for much of the rest, so I can't double up on either.

You shouldn't have said anything and I might have left well enough alone. As it is, I had to try it just once to see what happens :haha: .

I'm of playing it with two controllers (one as Luigi and one as Peach). Bubble a Racoon Luigi until the part where you have to bounce off the pirahna plants. Then bubble him again after that. Keep him bubbled afterwards unless Peach gets to be small then switch. That makes sense in my head at least.

 I managed to kill one with bombs. Tip: Maybe try that? I won't be held responsible for any consequences. :search: You could always just be a good spelunker and buy things.

Me too. I meant to say "I'm thinking of playing". I've been trying to do it as a Racoon Peach with a Cat Suit in reserve.

I haven't played with Luigi yet. What does he bring to the table?

Jumps higher, falls slower.
