If he cuts angles and manages his range he should be able to position himself so that the blows he has to parry are glancing, diminishing their force. And the more the Mountain misses, the angrier he's going to get. You're never more vulnerable than when you're attacking, and Gregor's attacks will be more wild and wide open as his frustration increases.

Victarion THE IRON CAPTAIN Greyjoy



Lord Captain of the Iron Fleet of House Greyjoy - Victarion is a large and powerful man, with a bull's broad chest and a boy's flat stomach. He wears plate armor in combat, a helm in the shape of a kraken, and wields a cruel axe. He's perhaps the greatest warrior in the recent history of the Ironborn, and one of the physically strongest characters in the series.

Wizards may be well and good, but blood and steel win wars. Bring me wine.

Sandor THE HOUND Clegane



House Clegane | Sandor is a huge and heavily-muscled man. He regularly wears plain armor and a distinctive helm sculpted into the shape of a snarling dog's head. He is the only character in the series who has physically withstood his brother (even if the fight didn't go very long), meaning Sandor is one of the strongest men in the series. A fact that Jaime Lannister himself notes during a fight with Brienne. To make his fight with Gregor even more impressive, Sandor was apparently holding back given he pointedly avoided striking where Gregor was unarmored.

There are no true knights, no more than there are gods. If you can't protect yourself, die and get out of the way of those who can. Sharp steel and strong arms rule this world, don't ever believe any different.
