Even if you're right this argument is just noise. I'd rather let everyone worthy of execution rot in jail for the rest of their life instead of being killed instead of letting one innocent person face execution who didn't deserve it.

It takes an astonishing amount of time to get through all the appeals and shit. Someone spending 15-20 years on death row should be completely unacceptable.
