It's specifically from the U2 iteration. They call the show U Talkin but at one point someone suggests that it should be U2 Talkin because it's 2 people (Scott and Scott) doing the pod. It becomes kind of hilarious as they debate it. Harris thinks that U2 Talkin is better because more syllables is always funnier. I think I kind of agree.

I don’t know who Harris is yet. It’s just the Scotts talking about some festival in 1983 right now.
EDIT: The more they talk about this festival, the less sure I am that it was a real thing.

I'd fucking love the shit out of that. I'd love them to go album by album as pseudo-fans (like Scott in the post-Green REM eps) that pretty much only know the first three records. That could be great.
Or maybe some of us here could ape their idea and do one of our own?

Man. This stupid U2 podcast really does feel like I just spent a few hours in an RM thread.
Inner monologue as the episode rolls on:
“Is it a serious conversation?” “Is it all a joke?” “These recurring jokes are awful.” “Wait, no, they’re funny.” “But objectively yeah, they’re awful.” “These guys are such fucking dorks.” “Hey you know what? That was actually pretty insightful.” “Oh man. I forgot how much I liked this song. Thanks for sharing it!”
Just like RM, this podcast must be lived to be understood. It’s rightfully awful when viewed from afar.

Could be part of the RM podcast. Just get different members to give their takes on the albums. That'd be pretty awesome.
