I think they made a mistake. They tweeted a snippet of River Cross once, deleted the tweet and then tweeted the same thing again. They meant to share a snippet of Retrograde, I'm sure. Makes no sense to go in sequence and then skip one song.
Pearl Jam is the only band I'll spend money on.

I stopped reading the NME review when it couldn't be bothered to spell Mike's last name correctly. Amateur hour...proofread your shit.

So, let’s pretend I downloaded flacs of this unreleased album (which would be shameful of me) (had I done that) and uploaded the songs to my Google Drive so I could play them off my phone. Then let’s say I hit play, and most of the right side content seems to be missing. Like, some overdubs and a few parts are there, but the vocals and drums pan all (most?) the way to the left. If I were someone who downloaded (for shame), and had that experience,

Just downloaded a lossless rip. Listening now and not having any issues that McP had.

Cos it slaps it on my phone and lets me share it with my brother at the same time.

Just downloaded a different source and got a full spectrum.

I'm not sure how much reviews really mean in Pearl Jam land. For someone like Kanye, it means alot. He wants the good reviews, they give him currency, hence the reviewers feel more validity to what they review from him, thereby giving him a chance at those 10/10s. PJ is all about a deep and profound connection with the fans, they took out the middlemen a long time ago. I think the reviewers know this, so there's less pressure and they usually fall in the above average category. The reviews might help outsiders gauge what's going on, I guess.

I like "Seven O'Clock" more than you do, but this is really close to my rankings. Same top five for sure, slightly different order.
