The American Meme.

Weird. I mean it has no opinion or idea behind what it shows. But gotta say, Paris Hilton is a wonderful character in real life.

I saw Mortal Engines tonight because me and my buddy always see a movie on Christmas night. Even coming off four straight days of family time couldn't make this movie enjoyable. Its basically star wars mad Max Terminator and water world rip offs jammed into one movie.

Wreck it Ralph 2, it was ok. The the old Netscape navigator wheel shot was funny and the princess scene was good. The rest was kinda too meta even if the message was important for people to hear

I rewatched Gran Torino a few days ago. I saw it several times when it first came out, but I haven't seen it since.

Held up very well for me. Really funny, really heartfelt, subtly deep. But...
Spoiler: show
...I completely forgot that the teen girl is beaten and raped. It was super shocking and disturbing. I was eating lunch while watching, and it actually made me feel a bit nauseous. It sent me right back to my theater viewing, when the entire crowd audibly gasped as her bloodied face was revealed. Jesus.

I watched The Christmas Chronicles over the weekend. It was awful but Kurt Russell kinda owns the role and it features the best use of the Santa Finger On Side of Nose moment I can remember.

All things considered I don't know if that means you saw it, you missed it, or you looked it up on youtube.

The credits spoiled it for me because I was reading the song list and saw it in there and was like, "I don't remember that scene" and then the F2 trailer started.

From the Aquaman thread:

I have a feeling Daddy’s Home 2 is gonna sneak into my annual Christmas viewing. I really enjoy that dumb movie.

Also, it’s weirdly one of the best 4K transfers I’ve ever seen, so that doesn’t hurt.
