Been watching Seth Rogen movies, the last one was The Disaster Artist. Not bad.

I'm still interested in seeing The Disaster Artist, even though I dislike Rogen and Franco.Anders wrote:Been watching Seth Rogen movies, the last one was The Disaster Artist. Not bad.

I find Rogen funny. However, his part in that movie is fairly small. Franco does a great job.

The Disaster Artist should have been much better than it was, and Franco should have been much better in it.

Aterrados, an Argentinian horror movie that Del Toro is going to remake. A friend of mine did the photography and it looks good.
The movie is pretty fun too.

I'm reading that right now. I'm about halfway through and I'm already pretty sure the movie isn't going to be good. It's a visual medium about people who are blind so you're going to be shown things that can't be described in the book, such as the creatures.

Both The Favourite and Mandy were awesome, fully realized movies that blew me away in completely different ways.

Re: What movies are you watching?
The book ended almost exactly the way I thought it would bar one or two things. The jumping narrative doesn't lend itself to a movie unless you're Quentin Tarantino and I imagine he was a tough get.VinylGuy wrote:The ending is the worst piece of shit of this year. just wait.bune wrote:I'm reading that right now. So, skip Bird Box? Seems to be making a big splash on the net

There is so much terrible shit on Netflix. I just tried watching The Christmas Chronicles, The Other Side of the Wind, and Roma, and I bailed after five minutes in each. They’re all unwatchable.

I loved Roma. Not crack-my-top-10-of-the-year "love", but I found it lovely.
