I boils my blood when I think about how those poor predators were forced to sublimate their beautiful natural instincts for the sake of a bunch of ungrateful plant eating rabbits and sheep. What a society.

Fun blurb from The Hill today:
Giuliani had hired former Watergate attorney Jon Sale as counsel in the case, but he told ABC that he is parting ways with Sale.
Imagine hiring a Watergate prosecutor to protect you during an impeachment inquiry and then a whole week later that prosecutor says “Nah I’m out.”

Giuliani is 75. Backs up my theory that the elderly people aren't fit for government.

It still surprises me that there isn't near-universal agreement about this.

They talked about this on the 538 pod this week. There was a poll that asked respondents to say whether a candidate was too young to be president, too old to be president, or if age played no factor in how they evaluated them. Only around 4% of respondents said Warren was too old, while Biden and Sanders had significantly higher numbers (I don't want to misquote because I don't remember exactly, but Sanders' number was highest).
Something like 2% of respondents said all three of them were too young to be president ::shrug::

Well she's a spring chick compared to those two. They're both way too old. She's too old to still be 15 months away from the start of a term, but age is less concerning with her than the other two. But by the end of her first term...

Haven’t read it, but it feels like a story floated by Trump’s people so he can fire Rudy and spin it as “tough on Turkey/this isn’t about the Ukraine.”

WTF
Donald Trump's national security adviser heaped pain and grief on the parents of a British teenager killed in a car crash by trying to hold a meeting at the White House between them and a U.S. diplomat's wife who was involved, the parents' lawyer said.
Charlotte Charles and Tim Dunn were invited to a surprise meeting with the U.S. president at his office on Wednesday where they were further shocked to learn that Anne Sacoolas, the American woman involved in the fatal crash, was in the building.
Mark Stephens, the lawyer for Charles and Dunn, said national security adviser Robert O'Brien had the idea of overseeing a coming together of the families before they would then hug in front of an assembled media.

It’s incidental in the bigger picture but you guys should tune into the Dunn family and that whole thing. The White House ambushed them today.
And of course donald got involved. It didn’t go well and now uglier than it was.
