Meanwhile the president brokers a deal with Turkey that gives them so much of what they wanted that Syria refuses to abide by it, and in doing so basically sanctions the destruction of the Kurds:

1. Gives the Kurds a few days to vacate their homes (to where?!)
2. Avoids any talk about a long term ceasefire
3. US recognizes Turkey’s exclusive right to patrol the territory by air
4. All sanctions are lifted
5. The president justifies the slaughter by saying Turkey had a need to “clean out” the area. Which seems a little on the nose?
