The Favourite.
Doesn’t know what it is. A period drama about an English queen but it’s serious then the office.
Avoid it.
Go see the Oscar bait one with seersha ronan and the Margot Robbie chick instead

The Mule.
Eastwood is a god. He nails it. I liked the enough, but mainly to see him act like a fuckin perv and asshole was a delight.

When they’re done well they’re great. Writing (and filming I guess) in a modern style but in a period setting is jarring though.

watched Better Off Dead... tonight. I swear...if you have not watched this, you need to avail yourself of it asap. This movie is just insanity personified. There's two songs in the middle sung by E.G. Daily ffs. "Who's that?" I hear you asking. Well, have you heard of Buttercup, or Tommy Pickles maybe? Yes indeed.
I want LV to watch this film just to see what happens.

I wish I could say that I looked up imdb to get her name but I knew it was her just from seeing her and hearing her sing. Weird what the brain decides to keep sometimes. Also it's legit bonkers that she tried to have a singing career when she sounds like Tommy Pickles.
I love the end when the kid is on his bicycle and skiing down after them, especially the little "aahhhhh." as he falls off the mountain. I meant to use small letters and a period because there was no inflection at all and that made it even funnier. Like no one thought they should do another take or something? "aahhhh." "Sounds great kid, thanks!"
