No, seriously, the entire team is going to Rome at the end of the month.

Clemson had their spring game over the weekend. I watched some and some overall impressions:

- I have no idea who will replace Deshaun Watson. The other QBs lack meaningful experience but have talent. I'm glad Kent St. is the first game and not Auburn (2nd game).

- The O line should be good, but they split starters so they didn't seem to gel well. The QBs had to scramble all day and they (qbs) were live.

- RBs will be by committee. We have one (CJ Fuller) that is reliable and more powerful than fast. He's great at pass blocking too. Then we have another (Tavian Feaster) who is a speedster (similar to CJ Spiller). Then there is one (Adam Choice) who is more balanced. I expect all three will see a lot of action.

- The WRs will be fine. Mike Williams will be missed, but Dion Cane already looks like he's in the NFL. Dude is huge and will most likely be a 1st round pick next year. He's the one that will stretch the field. The others are all good too. Ray Ray McCloud is the small speedster of the lot and will be used on short and horizontal plays. Hunter Renfrow is back and is a total possession receiver (he caught 4 td passes over 2 games against Alabama, including the game winner).

- The D looks great. They are getting most of the D-line back and those guys look like they'll be in the NFL soon. The secondary is replacing some guys, but the new guys are like RS Sophomores who've now been in the program 3 years. A bunch of them look like WRs out there (6'2" and 6'4" Safeties).

Yeah I think he's only 56. I guess that said, with the money in the bank he can't really improve much on his career, maybe he just wants to do something different.

Has to be more to this stoops thing. If he just wanted to retire he wouldn't do it like this. It kind of shits on the upcoming season doesn't it?

Not really, it's the right time for it, post signing day and spring practice. They have a good OC who can slide in.
It's a blow for sure but not insurmountable.

Odd timing but it seems like his staff knew it was coming. I don't blame him for retiring early with all the cash he's earned.

Happy for Clemson being honored today at the white house, but it sucks that it's with the current resident.

Trump's speech was pretty good. He surprised me. I was expecting just kinda run of the mill generic talk but it was a bit more in-depth than I would have thought it would be. Anyway, the guy is a douche, but good speech.

That was also my first thought. He knows something and wants to get far away.

Since this is all happening in Oklahoma it likely involves at least two of the following: Meth, shotguns, incestual rape, beastiality, academic fraud.
