we get sick to the back teeth of being told that we need to be "politer" by people who have the luxury of "debating" us like it's sport

when you want to tell me which party needs to be "politer" in the conversation about my rights, in a thread about my rights, I'm really interested in your thoughts

My favorite (nutpicking?) trans freakout of the day was some trans activists threw things at Florida Legislators and were detained by the police and they turned it into "Trans kids being kidnapped by police and not allowed to see their parents". Absolutely wild that certain protected classes are incapable of *checks notes* alleged simple assault.

Do you have your hard and heavy projectile loiscense?

Naw, underwear, but kids these days think civil disobedience/ protest means legal immunity which is a weird belief system.

protest has literally always involved civil disobedience; they ended slavery through civil disobedience

throwing underwear is "assault"? come on, the thing is, there are way better things to worry about (like, I don't know, uh, institutionalised transphobia and police brutality)

but if you're always looking for the next way the transes are acting "crazy" I don't have to ask what side you're on

I still remember when someone threw eggs at our Prime Minister
