For you to remove the art would be negating your true self in hopes of honoring some perceived sense of potential discomfort on her part. You’d be conducting a transaction to advance the friendship, rather than simply being yourself and letting things fall where they may.

I thought this was going to be a story about the time you went to a show and someone pissed in your convertible.
