Because they didn't. Yes, they did the bulk of the recordings then but it wasn't complete. Perhaps the recordings were done for about 90%. Pretty sure they worked on it last summer, probably for the last dubs etc. I can tell from experience that the last 10% from recording an album takes about 90% of the time. And we are still only talking about writing and recording. Mixing, mastering, artwork, pressing vinyl, distribution, promotion..... All comes later..

I hope they have a lil film of visualisers to stream like they did with Gigaton; I'm not wholly convinced of the art direction for this album, but if it ends up being a fully realised concept like Gigaton was, I could be swayed

So you hear DM once in the dark and then another time around with visualizers. Thats incredibly lame. That will cost ya $25?

I’m a hard no. And not for the trivial price of $25, but just on principle. I was hoping this would be a doc about the record.
