This U2 pod really is my kind of humor.

I hope they never actually get to anything they promise to cover in later episodes. “Oh, we’ll get to that in the Atomic Bomb episode...I promise.”

Loved the Monster episode with April Richardson. Had no idea who she was going in but found her super charming and entertaining.

A few notes:

- I'm finding that I disagree with Scott more and more as we get deeper into the WB era. Adam is a defensive superdork about these albums and I am RIGHT THERE WITH HIM.

- I loved the fake out on "King of Comedy." Scott: "This is 'King of Comedy' -- by the way, a great film." Adam: "Yeah, wonderful film." Scott: "Wait, uhhh--" *pause* Scott: "No, it's not."

- The tremolo is a signature part of this record. I love it and don't really understand Scott's problem with it.

- I disagree that "Strange Currencies" feels out of place, but then I've always heard it as less of an earnest love song and more a song about obsessional desire -- kind of like an early version of "Be Mine." It's always felt kind of subtly dark to me. I think it fits with the rest of the album very well, in that sense.

I'm not sure if these shows are getting increasingly better or if I'm just enjoying them more, but either way, I'm officially addicted. Onto New Adventures!

Okay, I finally got to Harris on this thing. I didn’t realize that this was the dearly deparred, fellow H-Town son, Harris Wittels.

Durds, I can totally see this dynamic being a WM/Chud versus LV thing. Harris is a much needed foil on this, and his opinions are clearly tainted by a mixture of sheer contrarianism and the misfortune of being a dyed in the wool millienial. Can’t wait to hear more.
