honest question...is this who Eddie thinks he is when he does his HEEEEEE singalongs like the end of this video?

Honestly been watching some live Queen clips and after watching Live Aid (after seeing Bohemian Rhapsody) Im just like O____O what a performer.

SERIOUSLY QUEEN IS INSANELY GOOD I am watching these videos and it makes Pearl Jam look worse, though Pearl Jam is still really great but man...queen is legendary. I dont know if PJ qualifies

I like the Natalie Maines version of "Without You" better.

Also youtube totally suggested "Tonight You Belong to Me" the other day by someone whose name I can't remember and it was better too.

I adore Ed's "Tonight You Belong To Me", but mostly for personal reasons.

That album (along with a Jason Mraz album) got me through a really tough time in my marriage so it's really hard to listen to now.

Understandable. Music has a funny way with that.

i wonder what the trajectory would have been if Stone just found a different lead singer

Back in high school or maybe college I thought to myself I would be happy if PJ called it quits when they all hit age 50. In fact I kinda hoped that they would so they wouldn’t limp off into oblivion as they got older and older.

Pretty sure I’ve seen over half my PJ shows since they started turning 50.

Dammit.

It was the perfect time and place, with the best musicians in that area. If he was good or great, it would have been a success, or possibly a great success like Pearl Jam. Impossible to tell the rest.

Of course Ed is responsible for RM existing, but so is Stone, Jeff, Andy Wood. Everything is part of everything in history.

I'm gonna be honest. The more I listen to other bands the more I'm struck by how unimpressive the guitar players in PJ are, INCLUDING Mike.

Brian May is a damn genius. And live he sounds just as good as on the studio track.

Yeah, I've never looked to PJ for impressive guitarwork. They're sloppy as all hell live.
