He’ll resign when they tell him he won’t win the senate trial. John Kasich came out in favor of impeachment today. The moderates are coming to their senses.
I'm trying real hard to be the shepherd.

He can still create plenty of electoral mischief even if this does stick.

Kasich doesn't get a vote, though. I can totally see him laying the groundwork for a 2024 campaign (whether or not Trump wins in 2020) on a "return to normalcy" platform.

Not if he isn't allowed to run again.

doesn't have to run to hold rallys. I mean, just look at the past three years and the number of rallys he's done.

If he's removed from office AND prohibited from running for office again, do you REALLY think he's going to go around the country holding rallies? These would be the people that voted him out. The worst betrayal ever. He's going to blame every democrat and republican in his temper tantrum. His political career will be over so there won't be any need for a rally. If he gets nothing out of it, he ain't gonna do it.

He could prop up and endorse another wacko candidate

If he is ever removed from office, I hope the Southern District of NY has enough to put him behind bars .... but at this point, it still seems he has the votes to survive a Senate trial

Do you really think if he's not the top dog, he would spend his very extraordinarily valuable time stumping for another candidate?

Perhaps early in the AM on January 21, 2021, he will be awoken from his mar-a-lago slumber to the pitter patter of FBI agents rappelling off the terra cotta roof and rushing through gold-leaf doors to apprehend a person accused of money laundering, fraud, racketeering, tax evasion, and a host of other charges generally associated with bankrupt casino operators.

Good point, if he did do it, he probably wouldn't come off the stage.

These people who Benghazi’d day and night until the coke ran out also 100% think that it’s reasonable to put someone’s life at risk for having the gall to expose a crime their team committed.
