Sirens is good

Retrograde is nothing like Sirens
Correct statement
SIrens > Retrograde
Red Dot > Sirens

Not my best moment. But I think the Sirens thing partially redeemed me.

My (very very) limited understanding of it is: there are a bunch of half-finished Soundgarden demos with Chris Cornell vocals on them. The guys want to put them together as a final SG album. Vicky Cornell will only allow this to happen if they use Brendan O'Brien as a producer, which the rest of the band doesn't want to do for some reason.
All this really does for me is beg the question: what reasons would SG have for opposing a producer of BoB’s history and standing so intensely that they would rather just not do it at all?
I think they wanted to work with Kasper and not have Vicky to tell them how to work or what to do to promote the album.
Oh, I don’t think it’s all that worth guessing over. It could be he accidentally didn’t hang up a call before shit-talking somebody. It could be that it’s some other bummer thing he did that we would have no reason or right to know about. Who the fuck knows what, among the millions of possible reasons out there, causes one group of people to fall out.
If you read their submissions in the court case, the band hold the view that Vicky has no standing to place demands or restrictions on how the band operates, in contrast to her view that she effectively "inherited" Chris's creative vote in the band. This is the crux of the argument over her releasing the stems of Chris's vocal tracks to the band, which she's provided she would only do if the band agree to use her "trusted producer" (O'Brien) on the resulting recordings. From the band's perspective, it wouldn't seem to matter who that producer was, they view she has no right to withhold their property (Soundgarden demo recordings), or to place demands on how the band carry out their creative work.

With respect to BO'B, it seems implied that he was onboard with Vicky's proposed arrangement, which I can understand causing some grief to Matt.
