My brother and sister-in-law sell new construction homes. They had to stop taking lot reservations and only sell stuff that the builder is now building before sale. Lumber keeps going up in price every month so they can't afford to sell a house for a price now that won't be built until August.

We bought a storm door and a new dishwasher this past week.

I opted for the extra cost for installation. I don't want the headache.

You just reminded me we should probably get a storm door.

It's warming up here, so I have a few projects looming. I'm going to be installing new gutters and while they're down I'm going to replace a few of the soffit boards.

I also need to replace my shed, which shouldn't be too bad. The hardest part of that will probably be getting rid of the old shed.

i'm not in an HOA but I've been thinking about getting a bright colored front door..orange or yellow..

I have a bright yellow front door and it looks great

We have company shirts and we don't shop at Sherwin. We're a home depot family.

Just got my windows measured for window coverings. Been here three years and finally placed an order for some high quality window coverings.

Can't wait till they are installed!

i got rid of an old shed last year - pretty big wood one, with shingled roof, etc

we were supposed to cannibalize it's wood to build a new one but due to a snafu during deconstruction had to just demo the whole thing

if i could do it all over again i would have just rented a dumpster

we wound up cutting it into pieces and i ferried it to the local dump in about 5-7 trips, and had to pay the guy at the dump bc technically was construction waste he's not supposed to take

fun times

was kind of exciting though

but then when the old shed fell on the pool fence i had to get involved

and then never got uninvolved

and by the end

it was a magic journey, together
