Even without the European travel ban coming I definitely think the European tour is getting postponed. The restriction is only for a month initially but this isn’t expected to peak until May.

If they postpone EuroCup, then the tour will definitely be cancelled.

I've seen some estimates of it peaking July if it's NOT contained and if contained towards end of year (flattening of the curve). The question is whether does it goes away in summer and come back in winter.

Has anybody seen anything about makeup dates yet? Mrs Wease sent me pics of both shows we have tickets for being rescheduled in October. They were from a Facebook page from some site called the sound we love or something like that. I checked my tix on the Ticketmaster app and nothing had changed there. I’m wondering what this Sound We Love thing is and if their into is legit.

That's definitely it for the Hyde Park show, and almost certainly all the others on the Euro tour as well.

maybe now they can finally record those two years of xmas singles and ship them to everyone who is stuck at home

Everybody has such a positive reception to the album it's especially sad that this tour of all tours had to be postponed/canceled

Yup. Especially after thinking about how well some of these will transfer to a live setting.

It's going to be a unique experience with this record for everyone to have six months or so (presuming the Euro shows are cancelled) to get to know the songs intimately before they're performed live by the band.

Yeah, some of these songs are going to absolutely rip live. Especially excited to see the rockers - Who Ever Said, Quick Escape, Take the Long Way. Even SBWM should be fun.

I wonder if lowlight79 still thins COVID is nothing to worry about.

hopefully no one in the band dies before they get to tour on this album
