i think this is great but wasn't this already being done? Was the league resistant to this prior to the delay in games? LeBron was definitely already working on getting Dodger Stadium turned into a place of voting prior to Wednesday.

I think a more principled stance would have been "we're not playing until this happens". I look to Ali as the gold standard but this is still good.

Which franchises own their Arenas? Seems uncommon as they are all welfare queens that require public money for at least a portion of their facilities.

I am not for violence at all but in this case it seems like tit for tat. Cops keep killing people, people are burning shit down in response. The fact that white citizens with guns (read: vigilantes) are being tacitly approved of by the local authorities and allowed to walk around with guns fully ready leads me to believe that the riots and craziness is almost being encouraged at this point.

People are protesting police abuse. Additional police abuse won't help things here.
No, attacking and burning down the livelihoods of people who have nothing to do with their problems is not tit-for-tat. It's brainlessly attacking innocent people, and those people have every right to protect themselves and their property with deadly force. And a look at the reduced level of rioting tonight in Kenosha suggests that you are wrong that defending yourself with guns encourages more rioting.
How many illegally armed 17 year olds were out shooting people last night in Kenosha?
None. Because there were no violent rioters attacking people to shoot.

I'd also like a source on this.
Is this the first guy? https://corrections.az.gov/public-resou ... datasearch

Inmate Number: 172556

Obviously, one can't know what crimes the attacker committed before being attacked, but it does lend even more credibility to the argument that an incredibly violent POS and likely pedo was attacking a 17 year old boy and got everything had coming to him.

That does look like him, yes. Thank you for offering anything to substantiate macphisto's post. I appreciate it.

As to the rest of your post... again, whatever narrative you need.

I wasn't there but based on what I've seen from video evidence and from reading accounts of what happened, I'm not as sure as you are about the version of events you've presented. Maybe, once more comes out, we can have a better picture.

Either way, throwing plastic at an illegally armed instigator, who yes shouldn't have been there, sure doesn't warrant a death sentence.

The fact that a violent mob was rampaging over a city burning down buildings and threatening people, even people with guns, with utter impunity, while police did nothing is not alarming to you guys? Thats normal and cool?

How is this the thing your worried about?

You need me to cite a source to tell you that portraying a 17 year old vigilante illegally carrying an automatic weapon as just "a guy" is misleading?

I need you to post sources showing that the boy was in the wrong here and that a man simply "threw a bag at him" and nothing else. I need you to show me why it is wrong to fight back when being attacked/chased by a mob. Fuck I'll take eye witness testimony if nothing else, which, by the way, I also have.
