If you tell me your favorite flavors I could probably recommend a beer you would like. Most mass-produced beers don't really taste like anything.

Enjoying a pint of Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout with a dozen gulf oysters.

I had a great night out last night. I tried a new restaurant and had some fantastic food and a few nice beers. Dinner consisted of amazingly delicious Pork Belly Tacos made with house smoked pork belly, queso fresco, cilantro lime cole slaw and Sriracha aioli, then we had Smoked Duck Bacon Tacos made with Chili Lime Slaw, Radish, and house made Unagi sauce. The pork belly tacos were awesome and the smoked duck bacon tacos were probably the best tacos I've ever had. Here's a pic of the smoked duck bacon tacos:

The drink list is solid. I went with Clown Shoes Undead Party Crasher - American Imperial Stout, and a double IPA that I can't recall the name of. Both beers were very good, but the food was the star.

After dinner we stopped at a new liquor store on the way home and made a variety of purchases. I got a bomber of Abita Macchiato Milk Stout, a four pack of Goose Island's The Muddy Imperial Stout, a four pack of Ethos IPA, a four pack of Hop Freak Double IPA from MKE Brewing, and a bomber of Crème Brûlée Stout for good measure.

The Macchiato Milk Stout was a bit disappointing. It was a bit light on the palet and I wanted a much thicker and deeper flavor. The Ethos IPA was solid. It wasn't extraordinary, but it was very good. The Muddy had a similar problem as the Macchiato, it just wasn't as full and thick as I'd hoped.

It turned out that the food was the star of the evening, and that was okay with me because the food was spectacular.

I'm not a big drinker, but when I do it's always Bud or Bud Light cause that's all my friends ever get. just curious as how that rates among other beers.

Just opened up one of these to enjoy this evening.

100% agreed.

Blaecorn Unidragon and Space Cake aren't bad.

I'm going back to the Roadhouse for drinks and dinner tonight. I'm not going to eat all day so I can have approximately all of the tacos and beer tonight. Om nom nom...

Yeah we have it here too and I haven't had it.

For the price point, I can get a lot better for my money. Which is why it's a shelf turd virtually everywhere you go.
