my wife hates most american bread, so she's always picking up more authentic stuff. the tradeoff is sometimes it's very oddly shaped and not conducive to sandwich making.

i have a toaster oven, but this was more about the bread's ability to properly house the ingredients. i should also mention that the bread dips dramatically in the middle; it's almost like two smaller pieces of bread attached tenuously together.
