This happened to me touring the UK a couple years ago; so many heavy dishes.

I remember ordering a venison pie in Inverness, and just not having the gusto to attack much of it.

i could only eat half of my 16oz prime rib last night...i had to tap out..the rest of it will be lunch later

there are some in Venice

when i was a kid – maybe about 8 or 9 – i had a nightmare that my mom pulled a sheet of salmon croquettes out of the oven, placed them on the stove top to cook, and one of them grew legs and ran off underneath the stove.

that visual still haunts me at least once a month, 33 years later.

Since it’s wild game, it’s pricey and not nearly as abundant as farm raised meat. There aren’t many licensed venison distributors as well, and I believe in some states, it may be illegal to sell venison, even if caught legally.

One of my groceries has frozen ground venison. Thinking of trying to out for burgers or something.
