On the other hand, I can't remember the last time a movie had such consistently negative reviews, and especially where the complaints were as consistent as these have been, and where the movie turned out to be really good. If anything, compiled reviews are usually too kind (see: Jurassic World).

It hinges on a coincidence going back to the golden age of comics. Bruce Wayne’s mother and Clark Kent’s mother are both named Martha. Once Batman realises this, he lowers his fists and decides to stop hating Superman and join him on his quest to save the planet. That’s it. That’s all it takes.
