The great thing about that pic is he doesn’t even believe in it at all. He’s just basking in the attention all the people are throwing his way and stroking his ego even more. Meanwhile, these peabrains fully believe God and sunny Jesus are on their side and are filling Trump with their power and might.

I’m sure it’ll be spun so that they weren’t actually saying “boo”.

Apparently Trump's handlers asked Twitter if they could have a 15 minute delay on his Tweets and were told no.

I think the conservative reaction to him being booed at an UFC event underscores how much of the media's obsession with checking in on Rust Belt Trump supporters and trying to overcorrect for what they see as their mistakes in the 2016 election is actually doing Trump supporters a disservice. I think many Trump fans really believe that his unpopularity is limited to Hollywood and Upper West Siders who shop at Whole Foods. Maybe he'll win, maybe he won't, but I think they just fundamentally don't seem to understand the extent of his unpopularity, and how it extends far beyond their typical punching bags.

In that scenario, what would stop individual states from holding elections anyway? It's not like the actual elections are conducted by a federal authority, the states handle them individually.

But the federal election commission has something to do with it. Or we wouldn’t have it. Don’t they accept results for the states or something? If they don’t recognize results or say the elections were held illegally, then those elections are for nothing.

Not really. The FEC only enforces campaign finance laws.
The Constitution mandates the timing of presidential elections. States then run federal elections. States decide how to select their Electors for the Electoral College. Six weeks after the election the Electors from each state meet in their state capital and officially cast their ballots for the presidency. Then a couple weeks later Congress, and the VP certify the Electoral College vote and we officially have a president-elect. Then (s)he's inaugurated on January 20th.
Remember the Gore v. Bush debacle? All that "illegal election" stuff is handled by courts, both state and federal.

Also the FEC has been short-staffed (vacant appointments) for a while now, and is effectively not functioning; this is an obvious bid to keep Citizens United in good standing as various states wage war against it.
Note that Don McGahn was a former commission member as appointed by W in 2008.

But if the election is suspended, then federal elections won’t happen in the first place. At least not the presidential one.

I responded to your FEC reference, "But the federal election commission has something to do with it."
The FEC doesn't have any sort of power to suspend elections. Nor does Congress, nor does the president.
States are in charge of federal elections. State legislatures are the only ones conceivably with the power to delay an election, in which case that state may not have any electoral votes if they don't hold and certify an election prior to the Electoral College casting their ballots.

My bad! I forgot to take out one quote level. Fixed now.
