The guy who wrote this was on OnPoint this morning. The “counterpoint” guest argued that it ultimately won’t be a narrow case because there will be all this obstruction of justice stuff that’ll get folded into it, as happened with Nixon. His response was that the difference with Nixon is that his cronies were ignoring court ordered subpoenas, while here they’ve just been issued by congress. Counterpoint girl didn’t seem to think that mattered much.

I feel like the only two people on the board who consistently defend Trump are PhatJ, who is 70% more likely to misspell the word “triggered” in a post attacking libs for being dumb than he is to use the word “intimidation” to make a point....and Burt, who is just throwing a nihilist party for one, killing time by posting boomer memes on an early 90’s rock band forum.

Side note to that: I’d argue that no defense of the president is as impactful as the people who feel the need to blurt out an endless chorus of “nothing matters” whenever negative White House news breaks.

I was actually referring to the conservative pundit takes, a la last night's "attempted bribery is not in the Constitution."
